Tradition has it that a coffee for breakfast - often accompanied by the typical rice pudding made according to the original recipe - is the best way to enjoy the atmosphere of the early twentieth century that one breathes by immersing oneself in the warmth of the liberty style room.
A whole selection of home-made pastries signed Taveggia 1909, along with cakes, chocolates and other delicacies are available to start the day with a different taste.

A dessert whose fame crosses the ocean, attracting many tourists and curious who can't wait to take a bite of the irresistible rice pudding.
For more than a hundred years, the same recipe has remained unchanged at Taveggia 1909: a pastry basket filled with custard with rice, vanilla, sugar and milk is handmade by our pastry chefs and is the perfect excuse to match a coffee or a cappuccino in the morning.
